Convergent Audio Technology, or CAT as many refer to the brand, has a long history with The Analog Shop. Ken Stevens first visited us in 1994 and we were immediately smitten by his preamps. He had at that time also started to offer his JL-1 mono block amplifiers. Many discerning audiophiles the world over are convinced that Convergent Audio Technology electronics sound the most like real music and will have NO OTHER!

The CAT factory is only 14 miles from our store and it is not unusual on a nice day for us to drive over and pick up a demo or customer order directly. As the oldest CAT dealer in North America we are truly knowledgeable about the products, both past and present. We have a reputation world wide for helping people trade in and upgrade their older CAT products to the very latest.

We currently have the wonderful Renaissance preamp with phono here for people to see, touch, and most importantly, hear.
