The 10X5 is a high output moving coil that will work perfectly into standard MM inputs on your phono preamp. As you move up, the Dynavector line with the model DV-20XH and DV-20XL, you get all metal body construction and a bit nicer stylus profile. Further up the product range, the Dynavector cartridges are all low output moving coils. It is widely accepted that for the ultimate resolving power, low output is better.
