Berkeley Audio Design Alpha DACAlpha DAC

The Berkeley Audio Design Alpha is one of the finest digital pre-amps money can buy. It has 3 inputs and is both single ended and balanced out. This unit is seriously designed to drive a power amp, directly bypassing the need to have a preamp in an all digital system. By remote, you can adjust inputs, level, balance and dim functions. It locks on 16 and 24 bit input at all Freq. 44.1>192 kHz. Berkeley are completing work on a brand new USB>AES/EBU box that will allow a computer to connect via USB and run at up to 24/192 kHz. According to Michael Ritter of Berkeley Audio Design, it will be the best available. Robert Harley has said some very, very good things about this item and he DOES know what he is talking about.
