Robert “Bob” Walden Lietz, shuffled off this mortal coil on Monday, April 14th 2025. He wasn’t ready, but he went peacefully.

 

​From a young age, music was Bob's passion. He would often skip lunch and survive on crackers with margarine, so he could save his lunch money to buy must-have records. 

 

Bob met his wife Victoria when he asked her to dance to The Human League at The Continental, Buffalo, NY's best punk club. That dance turned into an over 40-year partnership.

In 1992, Bob decided to follow his dream and take a major leap of faith to open his own stereo shop, The Analog Shop, in Victor, NY.

 

For the next 32 years, Bob lived out his dream through helping customers curate home music setups that would bring them years of enjoyment. Many customers became life-long friends along the way.

 

Bob prided himself on his keeping up on the latest technology and trends in the audio industry to ensure that every customer could trust him to deliver exceptional advice and service.
